Advanced Life Support (ALS)
The European Resuscitation Council (ERC) certified Advanced Life Support course. It is a standardised European course teaching evidence-based resuscitation guidelines and skills to healthcare professionals. The ALS course provides a standardised approach to cardiopulmonary resuscitation in adults. The ALS course aims to train candidates to identify the causes of cardiac arrest, recognise patients in danger of deterioration, and manage both the cardiac arrest and the ‘peri-arrest’ problems encountered in the first hour or so after initial resuscitation from a cardiac arrest.

New Guidelines Update
The ERC have updated the resuscitation guidelines in October 2025 – as of yet there is no planned release date for new course materials. Any courses undertaken before the release of new course materials will still be valid and current ALS certificate even though the guidelines have been updated. If you book to attend a course with us in January, we will send you a complimentary 2025 ALS manual when released. We will cover the guideline update in our ALS masterclass to be held on the 12th January 2025 at 11:30 via teams.

Cancellations made within 14 days and not resold will not receive a refund.In the event of cancellation less than 45 days before a course, if the place is resold, then 90% of the fee will be refunded. If a course is rescheduled, by you less than 45 days before the course no further cancellation will be allowed
